Creepies, Crawlies & Creatures – Family Day

Continue the monster fun after the holiday with the Musum of Art + Light and Sunset Zoo for a drop-in family-friendly event that features LIVE critters and an array of hands-on activities for all ages at MoA+L. This Family Day takes inspiration from the artwork of digital artist Des Lucréce and his “Mons” (Monsters), featured in our Neo-Techne: Art in the Age of the Machine and Erosion of Time exhibitions. Using a self-directed “field guide” participants will explore the Neo-Techne exhibition, then while observing the LIVE creepy and crawly critters on view visitors use their imagination to print, stamp, or create a creature of their own and even design its habitat—courtesy of Sunset Zoo!

Girl Scouts are included, too—Daisy and Brownie level badging stations will be available for girl scouts to complete the Animal Observer and Bugs badges.
