ShredFest is BACK!
March 7 we are offering free document shredding and electronic device disposal to help combat identity theft.
Here’s what you need to know:
📆 Saturday, March 7
⏰ 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
📍 Veterans Memorial Park, 3602 U.S. Hwy. 301 N. Tampa, FL 33619
‼️ Batteries, cords, and trash must be removed prior to disposal.‼️
On-site document shredding will be limited to three copy-paper-sized boxes or kitchen-sized trash bag containers per vehicle. White or clear bags are preferred over black trash bags.
What you can shred:
• Old bank documents
• Tax records older than seven years
• Junk mail containing personal data (name, address, etc.)
• Unnecessary bills and receipts
• Old travel documents
• Expired home/car insurance policies
• Pay stubs older than four years
• Sticky notes or documents containing passwords
• Unnecessary paper copies and duplicates
💻 Residents can also drop off their old cell phones, personal computers, laptops, tablets, and hard drives to be securely destroyed by an industry-approved and certified recycler.
