- **Event Description**: Join me at Hidden Valley Retreat for a Sound Bath Healing, where you will nourish mind, body and soul, and honour the winter solstice through sound and vibration. 

Our ears are the sensory organ most connected to our autonomic nervous system. This means we can use them to regulate our heart rate, breathing, stress levels, even our digestion and blood flow. 

As well as this, sound vibrations have the power to influence your brainwaves and state of consciousness. Simply put, sound can take our brains from being overactive and anxious to a state of deep rest where the subconscious mind can take centre stage.

AND, our entire body is receptive to sound vibrations! When we work with sound, it’s not just working with the ears, brain and nervous system, but the entire body. Every ripple finds the most resonant home in the receiver, wherever their system needs it most. 

There is no correct way to receive Sound Healing, if you simply show up to receive it, the work is being done. During the session, you will simply lay down and listen/feel. I’ll be using a variety of therapeutic instruments including but not limited to crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, a drone harp, drums, and chimes. The sound healing will last for around 45 minutes.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- Bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow. Basically, whatever you need to lay comfortably on the floor for around an hour. Comfort is #1! I'll have a few spares, first in first served!

- You might like to bring your own eye mask/eye pillow. I always have spares if needed.

- Wear comfortable clothing.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in, and so we can kick off on time.

- Bring an open heart and mind.
