Join us at MALC on 21st February 2026 from 7am (7:30am start) for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit.

Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or just looking for a great day in the water, there’s something for everyone. Choose from four exciting categories:

•	20km Solo Swim 
•	Duo (2 people over 14 years old)
•	Team of 4 (4 people over 14 years old)
•	Novelty Team of 10 (up to 10 people over 10 years old, perfect for community groups, friends and family!)

Prefer a more relaxed pace? Try our Lap Accrual option, where you can complete the 20km distance over six weeks beginning 10th January 2026, pool entrance fees apply. 

The Virtual Rottnest Channel Swim is ideal for swimmers who: 
•	Can’t attend the actual event day; 
•	Don’t wish to compete in the ocean but enjoy distance swimming; 
•	Couldn’t get a boat for the 2026 South32 Rottnest Channel Swim; or 
•	Missed the cut-off for entries for the 2026 South32 Rottnest Channel Swim. 

For over a decade, pools across Australia and beyond have hosted Virtual South32 Rottnest Channel Swims, giving thousands the chance to experience the magic of this iconic swim - without leaving their local pool.
            
Registrations open on 10th December 2025 at a cost of $25 per person. This cost includes a Rottnest Virtual Channel Swimming Cap, Medal, Certificate and entrance to the pool on the day of the event. We have attached an event poster for your interest.
