Founded in Mandurah in 2003, WA Seabird Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation that now operates across Western Australia. The group rescues and rehabilitates injured and distressed seabirds and waterbirds, while also educating the community on how to better protect them. Each year, hundreds of birds are cared for by dedicated volunteers, with Mandurah recognised as a key rescue hotspot.
