shimanami kaido rido

adventurers need adventure and the shimanami kaido is a whole series of islands to roll around and explore. this years adventure is a little different to our normal bikepacking plans. we will try and make the week long adventure from 2 hotels. well 3 as our last night will be in airport hotel at hiroshima airport. the other 2 hotels... a few nights in onomichi and a few in imabari... the distances. 50 to 75kms each day.
4 days from onomichi inc 1 day ride to imabari
3 days from imabari inc 1 day ride to onomichi
1 day ride up to airport. it is on top of a mountain... 40km of omg!!
last night hiroshima airport
the plan will involve a shared vehicle cost so we can transport luggage and ferry those not able to do the last climb ... details and costs to be shaped as we gather entrants... but work on this as a loose budget... flights 1200... accom 1k @10 x 100p/n food... 500....we need you, your bike and 2 sets of lycra... ready to ride or not most days...
