- **Event Description**: The Children’s Museum of St. Tammany is excited to announce our annual Kids Krewe Parade and Party that will take place inside Pelican Park, Monday, February 16th, from 10:00am-1:00pm. This year’s event will be sponsored by Keesler Federal Credit Union, KidStrong Mandeville, Sign Gypsies Northshore and Goldfish Swim School - Covington. 

Join us for a joyful walking parade through Pelican Park as we celebrate Lundi Gras on the Northshore! Families are invited to roll along with wagons, strollers, non-motorized scooters, and small bikes as we parade together along a route inside the park.

Grand Marshal - Thomas Mitchell, LPC-S, NCC, who serves as the Executive Director of the Children’s Advocacy Center – Hope House in Covington, where he leads efforts to support children and families through advocacy, counseling, and prevention education. 

Special guest: Pierre the Pelican from the New Orleans Pelicans

After the parade, the celebration continues with a festival-style party in the Groves until 1:00 PM, featuring live music by the Secondline Arts Collective.
