- **Event Description**: The Mandan Progress Organization (MPO) and Pegasus Illuminations, LLC are excited to announce, “New Year, New Light – Remember Our Veterans 2026,” a historic world-record fireworks attempt and patriotic pyro-musical launching North Dakota’s official U.S. 250th celebrations. 
 
The performance will attempt a world record with 2.5 million roman candle shots, synchronized to a powerful soundtrack celebrating courage, sacrifice and unity. This immersive experience blends light, music and pyrotechnics into a deeply emotional tribute to those who have served and continue to serve our nation.
 
Starting Thanksgiving Day, tickets will go on sale to purchase your spot in one of five general parking sections to view the show. Viewing spots will be limited. Ticket links will be available at VisitMandan.com. Tickets will only be available online for this event.
