Details on the "GLOW HIKE" hike route will be announced soon--so stay tuned!


Plan to arrive at 7:00pm to get your glow on and once darkness covers the park the hike will begin sometime between 8:00-8:30pm. Remember to wear good walking shoes, BUG SPRAY, and please bring a flashlight if you feel one would be necessary to make a safe hike. The Glow Hike is both stroller and pet friendly with dogs on a leash at all times.


Participants of the hike are encouraged to bring glow sticks, wear UV reflective or glow face paint, flashlights and wear any type of white or colored clothing that will be reflective under UV light. Any wearable lite item is welcome, anything that will glow/ light up in the darkness. Throughout the hike there will be UV light and music party stations giving everyone the unique party glow.


JOIN THE HIKE PRE-PARTY WITH MUSIC, UV PHOTO AREA, AND MUCH MORE. Do your own face painting at our many glow prepping stations outside the Commissary on Cavalry Square? The Commissary Store at Fort Abraham Lincoln will be open from 7pm until the conclusion of the hike. Glow-in-the-dark and UV lighting merchandise will be available for purchase while supplies last.


As always with all of our events be sure to bring out the whole family to the Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. It's always great fun in North Dakota State Parks.


Event is FREE with a ND State Parks Annual Pass, or $7 vehicle registration at the entrance to the park. Don't have a ND State Parks Annual Pass, you can make that purchase at the Park Entrance or online at www.parkrec.nd.gov.
