Each year the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service holds a Junior Duck Stamp Competition where youth are encouraged to submit their own original duck artwork. 

Kids will have the opportunity to learn fowl-language and bird basics from local artist, Nicole Gagner. From profile to plumage, this class is designed to inspire aspiring artists to take a quack at this national stamp competition.

Nicole's introduction to drawing ducks is the first step for potential participants looking enter their masterpiece into the 2026 ND Jr. Duck competition.
