DUCK! Postal Stamp Art Workshop [Grades K-2]

Is your child passionate about wildlife? Have they been pond-ering becoming a famous artist?

Each year the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service holds a Junior Duck Stamp Competition where youth are encouraged to submit their own original duck artwork.

Kids will have the opportunity to learn fowl-language and bird basics from local artist, Nicole Gagner. From profile to plumage, this class is designed to inspire aspiring artists to take a quack at this national stamp competition.

Nicole's introduction to drawing ducks is the first step for potential participants looking enter their masterpiece into the 2026 ND Jr. Duck competition.

Please note, although parents are not expected to stay in the classroom while your child is creating, a guardian needs to remain on the MMPL premises as stated in our policy.
