The artists:
GLENDALE AQUIAS is a promising violinist and music educator whose passion for music began at an early age, having been born into a family of musicians. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Santo Tomas, studying under Prof. Sergio Z. Esmilla and Prof. Mayos Esmilla. During her studies, she participated in masterclasses with Justin Texon, Thanos Adamopoulos, and Noel Martin, with whom she later continued her violin training.

As an active freelance violinist, Glendale regularly performs with leading orchestras and ensembles, including the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra,
& Filharmonika. She also performs as a solo violinist at concerts, corporate events, weddings, and exclusive private engagements.

In 2018, Glendale represented the Philippines on the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth Qatar Tour as a casual performer. She also performed in the New Year's Concert in Hiroshima, Japan, in
2018 and 2019 as a member of the UST Symphony Orchestra.

Dedicated to both performance and music education, Glendale continues to inspire audiences and aspiring musicians through her artistry, professionalism, and commitment to musical excellence.

PATRICK JOHN ESPANTO is a versatile cellist, educator, and performing artist with extensive experience in orchestral performance, musical theater, chamber music, and event entertainment. As a Suzuki-trained cello teacher, he is passionate about making music education accessible to students of all ages and skill levels. He also performs regularly as a wedding and events musician, with a repertoire spanning classical masterpieces to contemporary favorites.

Patrick is a graduate of the Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where he studied under Prof. Eduardo Pasamba. He formerly served as the Principal Cellist of the University of the Philippines Symphony Orchestra.

As a member of the UP Arco (University of the Philippines String Orchestra), Patrick represented the Philippines in various international festivals and competitions across Europe. Most recently, he performed with the University of the Philippines Symphony Orchestra at the 12th China-ASEAN Music Festival in Nanning, China.

A sought-after theater musician, Patrick has performed in major musical productions in the Philippines, including Fun Home, Matilda, Waitress, and Sa Wakas. Throughout his career, he has also participated in and observed cello and chamber music masterclasses with distinguished artists such as Steven Retallick, Juan Muñoz, Zak Grafillo, Willy Pasamba, and other renowned musicians, further enriching his artistry and musicianship.
With a diverse performance background and a commitment to excellence in both teaching and performing, Patrick continues to share his passion for music on the concert stage, in the theater, and in the classroom.

OBEL ALALONG  is a pianist whose versatility is reflected in a career spanning a wide range of musical genres. He studied at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music (USTCM), where he majored in Piano Performance, under the tutelage of esteemed pedagogues Perla Z. Suaco and Dr. Raul Sunico, distinguishing himself as one of the Conservatory’s most accomplished young pianists through numerous awards and recognitions.

His notable achievements include winning the Grand Prize at the USTCM Chopin Piano Competition (2010), as well as First Honorable Mention at both the Romantic Piano Competition (2008) and the Etude Piano Competition (2012), organized by the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PTGPFI). He also participated in several masterclasses, including one conducted by internationally acclaimed pianist Christian Leotta, a student of Daniel Barenboim, held at the University of the Philippines Diliman – College of Music.

Beyond the piano, Obel also showcased his versatility as a vocalist. Vocal ensembles became a significant part of his artistic career. He was a member of Quatro, which was recognized by Bravo Filipino as Best Male Ensemble Group and received nominations at the Aliw Awards and the LEAF Awards. Together with the ensemble, he performed in numerous high-profile events, including Pinoy Playlist 2019, the Asia Leaders Awards, and The Word Exposed with Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle. Obel also ventured into live theatre, portraying a musician in the stage production Awit ng Dalagang Marmol, one of the Revisited one-act plays presented during the Virgin Labfest.

Today, Obel enjoys an international career as a professional pianist and keyboardist aboard Oceania Cruises, one of the world’s premier luxury cruise lines. Performing as part of the ship’s orchestra and production ensembles, he presents a diverse repertoire spanning classical, jazz, pop, R&B, Broadway, and contemporary music for audiences around the world.
