He won won Australia's D.M.C. DJ championship at the age of 15, and by the age of 21 was playing for most prolific clubs.[2] After meeting Sashaand John Digweed during an Australian tour, he decided to move to Great Britain to further pursue a DJ career.[3]He has appeared on the List of DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs each year between 1997[4] and 2003.[5] Pappa played at the I Love Techno music festival in France. In 2008, he played at the SAMC (South American Music Conference).[6] In 2000, he was on the cover of DJ Mag.He has released mix compilations on labels including Platipus Records,[3]System Recordings, EQ's Balance,[7] and most notably on Boxed's Renaissance, Global Underground and NuBreed series.[2] He also did mixes for the Nina Kraviz’s song "I’m Gonna Get You", before founding his own music label Red Light District in 2008.[8]During the 2004 tour, Pappa had performed at the Womb nightclub in Tokyo, Japan and then performed at Zouk in Koala Lampur. He also performed at the various clubs in Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore.[10]In 2018 he teamed up with Gab Oliver of the Narcotik, and did a single with Quivver and Freefall Feat as well.[2]In 2019, Pappa had participated at the Circus Paradise Arts and Music Festival[11] and on 30 March of the same year had played at LaDiDa.[1HigginsSince a young age I always felt most comfortable hanging around record shops and looking for the latest music as with most Dj's starting out.Growing my record collection developing my own individual style and technique, travelling to endless club nights, handing out countless mix tapes this was pretty much the norm back thenEventually this paid off playing at venues up and down the UK, being offered a residence at 'The Edge' in Sheffield and being given the opportunity to play along side Dj's such as Mickey Finn,Grooverider,Swan E,Hype & SS.But there was something missing, I was ready for a new challenge, a new direction. This direction was influenced by Dj's and producers such as Brian Transeu, Blue Amazon,Paul Oakenfold but most of all the highly acclaimed 7 ways album by Paul Van Dyke.Then came the introduction to Sasha & John Digweed,Listening to their style and track selection I was seriously hooked they just blew me away I then knew where I wanted to go musically.Im now currently the resident for Upcloseandpersonalmcr one of the uks leading club nights showcasing the best djs from around the world in a intimate environment djs gracing the decks such as Danny Howells,Nick Muir,Eelke kleijn Quivver,Dimitry Molosh,Guy Mantzur,Robert Babciz,I feel very privileged to be a part of this and thank all that have put the faith,time and effort in me.Favourite producers at the momentGuy Gerber,Sasha,Cybernailia,Audiojack,Nick Muir,Dmitry Molosh,Luke Brancaccio,Steve Bug,Nick Curly,Quivver,Steve ParryThe List Is Endless...Musical style - keep them dancing ...DAZ MANCHILD Being a fan of Anthony was just a dream come true for Daz, The Manchester based DJ is going from strength with several gigs around the city including his own night Devoted at Yes and the up and coming new night UNI-School at Stage and Radio.
