'Up Close and Personal Mcr' are proud to present 'Covert'. A new night with a different musical direction to the more progressive and melodic nights we are renowned for.

Covert is a multi-genre event catering for everything from house, minimal, tech, breaks, progressive, old skool, you name it.....

Headlining our first Covert event will be local legend Jay Wearden; a man who needs no introduction. Initially, a hip hop scratch DJ, Jay Wearden went on to ply his trade at the sacred grounds of the Thunderdome and Hippodrome, and he has been part of the furniture at the likes of Maxines, Monroes, Back By Dope Demand and many more underground nights ever since. Jay may be known to many as an old skool DJ, but he isn't one to be pigeon-holed so it's safe to say there will be a few curveballs and we're very excited to have him.

Support on the night will be provided by Manchild, Black Betty, MYDIR, Shing, Toucanplay, AfterX and the Up Close and Personal boss man himself, Andy Holdsworth.
