The threatened job losses at Carillon and the Tory government's refusal to guarantee pensions is the latest shot fired at the working class in the austerity era. In Manchester, Carillion has ongoing interests in at least 10 sites (MEN) and, meanwhile, companies like Virgin Health, G4S and Serco are profiting from the Labour council's corporate corruption. Cuts come every year with no resistance. Mayor Andy Burnham's promises have resulted in nothing - homelessness is rising while the rich line their pockets. Universal Credit will put more in debt and destitution.
Join us on the streets to campaign against corporate corruption and pro-cuts politicians. Stop the Manchester monopoly!
