This September, join our second Steps to Safety, a feel‑good 15km walk from Manchester City Centre to Altrincham.We chose this 15km walk to reflect the 1 woman killed by an abusive partner or ex every 5 days, a statistic that reminds us of all just how important literal life-saving services like Manchester Women’s Aid are.All funds raised will go straight into helping us support women across the city helping to fund our weekly community drop-ins, specialist services, important wellbeing trips or in refuge, it all matters!Spend the day surrounded by uplifting energy and play a part in supporting women as they take their first step to safety.FundraisingThe £25 registration fee go towards the costs for of running the event, and includes an exclusive Steps 2 Safety x Manchester Women's Aid t-shirt, refreshments and snacks for the day.We also ask that each attendee, helps the walk make a further difference and individually raise a minimum of £100 prior to the day.
