In short, the Manchester School District is facing a $16M hole due to lower than tax cap appropriations for the past 2 budget cycles. In the mayor's FY27 proposal he recommends deepening that hole an additional $500,000 by not appropriating the tax cap cost of living increase, yet again, to the Manchester School District.   Strong, thriving communities have strong, thriving public schools.  Please come to Memorial High School on Tuesday, April 14th and add your voice of support for a better budget. 

If you are unable to attend, please email your ward specific alderman, aldermen at large and the mayor and share your voice before 4/14.
