This summer, AARP New Hampshire is marking a major milestone—the 90th anniversary of Social Security—with an outdoor celebration you won't want to miss. On August 30 (8 am – 4 pm) you’re invited to join us at the Cruising Downtown Classic Car Show on Elm Street in Manchester for a fun, free event that blends sweet treats with meaningful conversation.
As one of the most important programs in American history, Social Security has touched the lives of millions over the last nine decades. This anniversary event offers a perfect opportunity to not only celebrate its legacy but to engage in important discussions about its future. AARP volunteers NH will be on hand to provide valuable resources, share updates on current advocacy efforts, and answer questions—empowering attendees to stay informed and take action where it counts.
But it’s not all serious talk. Every guest will be treated to a complimentary sweet treat to add to the festive event. The event will take place outdoors, allowing neighbors and friends to connect under the summer sun, enjoying lively conversation and community spirit on Elm Street in Manchester.
Cruising Downtown will feature live entertainment, food and other vendors, and the presentation of awards in several categories. Ample parking will be available near the event site, and visitors can take advantage of Downtown Manchester’s dining and shopping amenities.
