The ride will follow canal towpaths, quiet roads and cycling lanes. This is a leisure ride. Approximately 12 - 15 miles.We will be riding on quiet roads, canal towpaths, through parks and green spaces and in cycling lanes.Hybrid and mountain bike are advisable or any bike with good grip/thread tyres.Mostly traffic free along the canal. We'll use some roads to get to the canal from the bike library.Bring a bike lock, cash for the cafe or sandwiches, water. Gloves to keep your hands warm on a chilly morning day.Teas and coffees available at No 93 cafe in the centre at the start and finish of the ride. Also, toilets here.
