Ideal Surreal are delighted to present their second northern excursion of 2025.
Headlining are avant-guard groovers Ravenous Hounds, who will be performing songs from their forthcoming LP, the mind-bending, blood pumping, and hip-shaking Altered States. Performed, produced by the four Hounds themselves, Altered States is an ambitious project showcasing their complex sonic palette. Saturday 11th October is a chance to experience their latest project before their spinning disk of expansive avant-groove hits the shelves on Monday 13th October. Copies will also be available on the night!!
Mumbles
Diving headfirst into the chaos of late-capitalist life, Mancunian power-trio Mumbles ask the small questions: How do we be good people at the end of the world? How do we even survive? What the fuck is actually going on? A bit like if Deerhoof were unhinged emos fronted by James Acaster, or if Bill Orcutt inexplicably teamed up with Death Cab For Cutie, all open-tuned guitars, major keys and emotional skronk. With a new lineup and new songs they're primed and ready to publicly disintegrate at 250bpm like never before.
Yeti
YETII is a two-piece powerhouse that delivers a unique blend of psych fuzz rock.
The pair balance sharp bursts of raw energy with fuzz-laden escapist jams. Hailed by their audience as bigger than the sum of its parts and live show to lose yourself in.
Having released their debut EP 'Wort' in 2022 the duo have stayed busy with gigs both around the UK and Spain. 2025 has seen YETII debut at Desertfest London and the release of the concept EP 'A Full Rotation'
Hung out to dry
Hung out to dry are a metalcholic punk band from Greater Manchester. The 5-piece combine emotional vocals with catchy riffs and rhythms.
