- **Event Description**: Join us for a practical day of orchard care and pruning.About this EventVictoria Mill Park has a lovely one year old orchard in the heart of the park, planted lovingly by  folks one year ago. It is now time to do the first stage of pruning on any trees that are tall enough. We will also be weeding around the base of the trees and adding more mulch. You will receive free training on how to do formative pruning on the young fruit trees, which will help to create the shape and height of the tree we want, no prior experience necessary. We will be using sharp tools, so participation is for supervised teens and over 18s only.Please bring lunch and warm, outdoor clothing. There are no toilets onsite.
