NHS Workshop - Implementation of Innovation
This workshop is being jointly hosted by NHS Transformation Unit and NIHR CCF
The aim of this workshop is to facilitate discussion around the factors that enable successful implementation of healthcare innovation.
Our speakers and the concluding panel discussion will cover the following topics.
sourcing the right solution - opportunity appraisal
justifying the business case - return on investment (clinical and financial), financial implications
buy-in and managing the change process - stakeholder engagement and culture
project design and management – including measuring impact, service redesign
barriers to success – resource/capacity, co-dependencies (e.g. impact on other services or of a left-shift of activity to community), finance/tariff
