This film, The People’s Emergency Briefing, presented by Chris Packham, takes that briefing to a much wider audience. It is now being screened in communities and workplaces across the UK. There will be a brief introduction from your hosts at Burnage Library. Then there will be a viewing of the film and some facilitated discussion afterwards. We hope you will join us. The film grew out of the landmark National Emergency Briefing at Westminster Central Hall in November 2025, where nine leading experts, briefed an audience of more than 1,200 people on the interconnected threats to our food, health, economy and national security, and how responding at the scale required can create a safer and more prosperous future.
