- **Event Description**: Join us to look at the Mix-d: Project archive, sharing experiences of mixed race young people from across the UK.About this EventEver wondered what mixed race young people were saying about their experiences back in the pre-social media days?Between 2007 and 2014, the Mix-d: Project spoke to hundreds of young people from mixed backgrounds across the UK. Their voices shaped resources that helped professionals understand mixed-race identity in ways that still matter today.The Mix-d: Project archives have recently been donated to the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah RACE Centre. We’re opening up the archive for three practical workshops where you can explore this collection and see what still resonates now.Join us for our next workshop engaging with the Mix-d: Project archive. We'll be looking at the original materials, discussing the themes that keep coming up, and thinking about how this work fits with current conversations around mixedness. Bring your curiosity.This workshop is for anyone aged 18 and over.We'll be welcoming people from 5pm, with the workshop starting at 5.30pm.This workshop is the second of three sessions. The next workshop will take place on Wednesday 20th May, 5.30 - 7.30pm.
