No lunch included.It's recommended to bring your own if required, not much accessibility to buy food around the venueExpert Tutor: Michael BryantMichael Bryant is an NHS-appointed Consultant MSK Physiotherapist and Sonographer. He clinically leads a Primary Care MSK service in East Lancashire which incorporates MSK physiotherapy and an Orthopaedic triage service. Prior to that he held a Consultant post clinically leading an MSK service in Blackpool for 10 yearsMichael has been using US since 2005 and he completed a PgCert in MSK Ultrasound from Cumbria University. He has completed US training in Oxford with St. Luke's Radiology, Harrogate and in Italy with the world-famous Prof Carlo Martinolli.He has a particular interest in tendinopathy and ultrasound-guided interventional treatments such as calcific barbottage, hydrodistension, tendon fenestration, High volume injection and guided injections. He has experience in US in Rheumatology when working in an early inflammatory arthritis clinic.He is an Honorary Lecturer on the MSK Ultrasound Programme at Cumbria University and Salford University. He held a part-time Senior Lectureship at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) teaching the post-grad MSK modules including Injection Therapy, Advanced Practice and First Contact Practitioner. He recently left that post but still holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship and is still involved in post-grad education.He teaches various national MSK ultrasound courses and has been teaching US for several years. He presented at the Primary Care Conference 2014 on the use of MSK ultrasound in primary care and at the British Medical Ultrasound Conference 2018 & 19.
