The theme, Critical Hope, explores how creative health practice can strengthen our capacity for renewal—with care, courage and possibility.First articulated by Paulo Freire, critical hope focuses on facing reality honestly while still believing that positive change is possible—and something we actively build together.At a time of profound pressure and change—across our climate, our health and care services, and the wellbeing of our communities—critical hope creates space to affirm that good change is still possible, and that we can build it through connection, care and creativity.
