About The Sunday Boys
The Sunday Boys are Manchester’s inclusive LGBTQ+ low-voice choir, founded by composer Michael Betteridge in 2016 to give tenors and basses a friendly space to sing great music, perform and make friends. Open to anyone who sings with a low voice, they welcome complete beginners and seasoned singers alike, offering vocal coaching, singing lessons and a warm, social community.
With performances across the UK and international appearances in Iceland, France and Italy, this winter they unveil The Bells at Midwinter – “…no ear may hear his coming…”: a brand-new immersive Christmas ghost story, where a blindfolded audience is surrounded by singers, sound and an unsettling original tale written by artist composer Jonathan Ainscough.
