We'll set off from outside Evan's Cycles, Chill Factore What3Words where there is free parking if arriving by car, for a 10.30am start. (Please arrive with enough time to remove your bike, if driving to the start.) There are toilets at the start. We'll cycle along to Monton most likely on the canal or road to meet the Roe Green cycleway. We'll use this along with the Tyldesley cycleway & onto the Leigh Busway. Once in Leigh we'll cycle onto the Leeds/Liverpool canal towpath towards Pennington Flash. We'll have approximately an hours break where ppl can peruse the markets & grab some lunch. We'll then cycle back along the towpath, which we'll leave at Astley & cycle the quiet lanes through Chat Moss coming out at Liverpool Road just before Barton Airdrome. We'll then use the shared pathway back to the Chill Factor. Please note the longer duration of this ride allowing ppl time to visit the Christmas Markets.
