About the Facilitator
Temores Barratt is a Central Saint Martins alumna and multi-disciplinary artist pushing the boundaries of art, design, music and film, constantly challenging notions of creativity and educating on how art can be utilised to enrich our lives. As co-founder of critically acclaimed fashion brand 'Art School', she spearheaded a groundbreaking new movement in Non-Binary design by creating extravagant catwalk shows for London Fashion Week, which uplifted the queer experience to be understood by the modern world.
She was asked to design a Barbie for the September 2019 edition of British Vogue (guest-edited by Megan Markle), where she created the "non-binary" Barbie. She won the Fashion Fighter award at the 2019 Gay Times Honour for her ongoing work uplifting trans- and queer people's voices through fashion.
Alongside her design passions, she is a musician and filmmaker working on communicating the struggles of surviving in the modern world, the transgender experience, and exploring emotion and human politics. As the visionary founder of House of Voya, art-collective and fashion house, she continues to focus on uplifting marginalised voices and re-defining the intersection of art and fashion.
