About the event

Elevating wellbeing in the environmental workplace
A unique networking breakfast featuring the launch of a brand new wellbeing toolkit designed especially for managers of environmental groups

About this Event

Sometimes, sustaining momentum when tackling environmental issues can be draining. This event shares the latest research from two leading experts - from Work Psychology, and Environmental Policymaking - while providing an opportunity for environmental managers and teamleaders to network with each other and share best practice.

Are you a manager or leader whose work touches on environmental issues? Do you support teams tackling climate change, sustainability, or environmental protection in the North of England? Join us for a unique breakfast networking event and the launch of a brand-new wellbeing toolkit, designed specifically for those working in environmentally engaged organisations.

Why Attend?

  • Discover practical strategies to support wellbeing and career sustainability for yourself and your team, based on new research and best practice from across the UK.
  • Hear from leading experts in work psychology and environmental politics, including Dr Ciara Kelly (University of Sheffield) and Dr Paul Tobin (University of Manchester), plus practitioner speakers from the sector.
  • Network with peers in the field, share experiences, and build connections to strengthen your impact and resilience over a free breakfast in the heart of the city.
  • Take away an exclusive toolkit filled with insights, quotations, and actionable advice to help you and your colleagues thrive in challenging times.

What to Expect

  • A short talk and Q&A with researchers and a practitioner partner (20 minutes talk, 25 minutes Q&A)
  • A relaxed networking breakfast with refreshments, pastries, and fruit
  • Opportunities to reflect, learn, and connect with others facing similar challenges
  • Free access to the new wellbeing toolkit for environmental workplaces
