Enjoy rout cake, cheese boards, spruce beer and more underneath the Portico’s regency period glass dome, immersing yourself in the tastes that defined Austen’s world.Conversation will be guided by Amy Etherington, Portico Kitchen staff member and MA in Literature with a specific interest in gothic and women’s fiction from the 19th century.Ticket price includes entrance to the event and a small lunch menu of historic dishes, tea and coffee.If you have any specialist dietary requirements, please enquire ahead of booking on by emailing hospitality@theportico.org.uk .
