You will use materials such as Bamboo Brushes, Sumi Ink and Mineral Paints. Painting Lunar New Year themed topics onto your own hand crafted paper lantern.First of all we'll build our lanterns together and whilst they're waiting to dry our teacher and local artist Ula Fung will demonste some Chinese painting techniques. Before you start painting on your Lantern you will get the chance to warm up by painting onto Rice paper.
