This engaging presentation is designed to help caregivers recognize the early signs of burnout and develop practical strategies for managing the emotional and physical challenges of caregiving. Participants will gain valuable insights into maintaining their own well-being while continuing to provide compassionate, quality care for others—promoting a healthier balance and sustained resilience.

The session will feature experts from Elliot Health System and Elliot VNA who bring specialized knowledge in emotional wellness, community resources, and nutrition for caregivers.

Whether you are caring for a loved one or supporting someone professionally, this event will provide you with essential tools, expert advice, and resources to help you thrive in your caregiving role.



Meet Our Presenters:

Marilyn Mills:

Marilyn Mills, MS, RD, LD, CDCES is a Senior Clinical Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Elliot Health System. Her special medical nutrition therapy interests include Diabetes self-care management, Gastrointestinal issues, food allergies and Celiac Disease.

Marie Obreiter:

Marie Obreiter, MSW is a medical social worker and a certified Mental Health and Aging provider with the Elliot VNA. She works with patients to help navigate their emotional, financial, and social challenges related to their medical condition.

Jen Rydeen:

Jennifer Rydeen, LICSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Elliot Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Team. She provides therapeutic support to hospice patients and their families, helping them to navigate the emotional and practical challenges of end-of- life care. Jennifer also assists with resource coordination, caregiver support, and education to ensure dignity and comfort throughout the end-of- life process.
