Developed by an international Curatorial Assembly, this sixth edition explores how we can rethink the idea of value—moving beyond profit, measurement, and norms to imagine more generous, inclusive, and creative ways of seeing the world.Since its launch in 2008, ATM has brought together artists, audiences, and institutions to celebrate contemporary Asian art and culture, while also reflecting on the complexity of British Asian experience. With a legacy of exhibitions, performances, collaborations and commissions, ATM continues to question, challenge and expand what art can do in the world today.This year's curators—reframed as convenors to reflect a more collaborative, democratic model—are building a curatorial framework rooted in shared thinking, experimentation, and global dialogue. Inspired by both local context and international urgency, ATM6: Transvaluation opens up new ways of creating, curating and connecting across borders and disciplines.Full programme details will be published on the ATM website.Bunker TalksThis event is part of Bunker Talks. Bunker Talks invite artists and researchers to talk about who they are and what they do. Curated by the Performance Research Group at Manchester School of Art, Bunker Talks explore geopolitical, ecological or economic concerns. The talks create space for critical encounters, presentations, provocation and dialogue.Originally conceived in the pandemic to explore how artists, writers, curators and researchers continued to make and share their work, live Bunker Talks now take place at The Salutation every month. Since 2020, over 150 talks have been hosted by Performance Researchers and colleagues from across the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. All talks are recorded, edited, captioned and then archived to create an online catalogue, capturing how artists, makers and curators think about the world today.
