Learn about the grid with a leading expert with ample time for Q&A - The New Hampshire FITN Way!!
One of the most urgent areas of concern for U.S. national security is the vulnerability of the U.S. Electric Grid. If the power goes off and stays off, our nation will experience the cascading collapse of every one of the 16 critical infrastructures that assure the availability of water, food, medicine, finance, transportation, communications, etc. The effects would be catastrophic and severely threaten every part of society, including the U.S. military. Join us to receive a detailed threat briefing by Lt. Col. Tommy Waller (USMC Ret.), President & CEO of the Center for Security Policy. Tommy will provide an introduction into the six main threats to the electric grid and the policy and technological solutions needed to protect it. The briefing will also include an update on what's being done in the New Hampshire legislature to address known hazards to the grid.
