Haçienda Classical – 10 Years at Castlefield Bowl
On Saturday 4th July 2026, Haçienda Classical returns to Castlefield Bowl to celebrate a decade of shows in the heart of Manchester.
What began in 2016 as a one-off experiment has grown into one of the city’s defining live experiences. Graeme Park and Manchester Camerata rework the tracks that shaped the original club — late-80s and early-90s anthems rebuilt with full orchestral scale, guest vocalists and new arrangements created for this anniversary edition.
Speaking on the milestone, Peter Hook said:
“To have nine sold-out concerts and be heading into our tenth year at Castlefield Bowl is the greatest compliment from the people of Manchester to Rob Gretton, Tony Wilson and the members of New Order who made it possible… here’s to many, many more.”
Graeme Park adds:
“2026 marks the tenth anniversary of what was supposed to be a one-off show. We return next year with a completely new set and some very special guests.”
Over the past decade, Haçienda Classical has sold out the Royal Albert Hall, The Warehouse Project, and major UK festivals — including Isle of Wight, Kendal Calling, and Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage. It remains one of the country’s most loved live productions, praised by NME as “probably the best rave since 1997” and by Mixmag as “a near two-hour blend of house music’s greatest players.”
The 2026 edition marks the biggest show yet, with more guests TBA.
This ones going to be special.
