- **Event Description**: Attendees at the November 20, 2025 selected a library service project as the activity for our December 18 Teen Program. In specific, we will move books in the fiction area. Snacks will be provided.

The books are being moved to lower the highest shelves into a position easier to reach by shorter people. To make this possible, all of the shelves will be moved closer together vertically. When possible, books will be moved one shelf above the floor to increase accessibility. This may sound complicated, but it just takes time and a bit of focus to complete.

This service project is an opportunity to help the library, learn skills, and create a record of accomplishment to share when seeking scholarships and employment.

Teen Programs will meet at 4 pm on the third Thursday, every other month, in the Sturm Memorial Library meeting room. The Teen Advisory Board, aka TAB, will be held the alternating month. These events are for students, grade seven through twelve.

Teen Programs feature making, playing, and visiting. The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is an opportunity for teens to tell library staff what they would like for materials (books, movies, etc); programs; and teen space. Snacks will be provided for both TAB and Teen Programs.
