Maternal Health Workshop

Join the Virginia Women and Family Support Center for a transformative Maternal Health Workshop, designed to spotlight the importance of maternal health education. This event unites healthcare professionals, policymakers, advocates, mothers, and mothers-to-be, and community leaders to address key issues impacting maternal health in our state and communities. Attendees will gain insights from expert speakers and engaging panel discussions on topics like improving maternal health outcomes, nurturing mental health, prenatal care essentials, creating birth plans, self-advocacy during labor, and postpartum well-being. Together, we will empower women and families with knowledge and support for better maternal outcomes.
