It's First Friday in Old Town Manassas! Think of these as a giant block party with bands, food, games, DJ, shopping, strolling, sipping - it's a fantastic time for the whole family. While the restaurants are generally open throughout the evening and later, most of the shops stay open 'til at least 9pm (with several open later). The main event time is 6pm - 9pm and streets will close around 5:00pm.
Please remember the DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) rules for First Friday so that we can keep this event a fun, family friendly event. No outside alcohol, cans, bottles, coolers, etc. - and please stay within the designated areas listed on the DORA map (there are also designations around town).
The main event time is 6-9pm. The last call for on-street alcohol sales is at 9:30 p.m., and all alcohol sales must conclude by 10:00 p.m. (this is when the bands end as well). At 11:00 p.m., all on-street alcohol consumption ends, and the streets will begin to re-open.
PLEASE be considerate to the time guidelines and to our officers. We know there are still lots of people in town around 11pm, but restaurants and bars will be at capacity so we ask that you exit town. Please help us by clearing the street and exiting the area at that time (preferably before).
