 - Town of Mammoth Lakes Office: May 1-15, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (Minaret Village Mall, 437 Old Mammoth Road, Ste. 230)
 - Mammoth Disposal Office: May 1-15, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm (59 Commerce Drive)
 - Community Recreation Center: May 16, 9am-1pm (686 Old Mammoth Road)
 
DEFENSIBLE SPACE CLEAN-UP EVENT 
Dates:  Friday, May 15 &amp; Saturday, May 16
Time:  8:00am – 3:30pm daily 
 
DROP OFF AT THE MAMMOTH DISPOSAL TRANSFER STATION 
 - Green waste: Pine cones and needles, grass clippings, leaf debris, root balls.
 - MLFD chipper: promote a healthy defensible space around your home by removing ground litter and trimming up trees to 15 feet. Bring clean branches and tree limbs less than 12” in diameter and greater than 18” in length only.
 - Recyclable materials: glass, plastics and cardboard.
 - E-Waste: TV’s and electronics.
 - Household Hazardous Waste (HHW):  antifreeze, oil, batteries, paint (must be labeled and under 5 gallons)
 - Household trash

DROP OFF AT THE TOWN YARD 
 - Large bulky items: furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc. 
 - Metal objects: refrigerators, dish washers, snow stakes, motorized equipment – no vehicles, all fluids must be removed.
 
NOT ACCEPTED AT EITHER LOCATION 
 - Railroad ties, treated lumber, tires from commercial vehicles, solar panels and partial/full propane tanks. 
 

COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DAY &amp; SUSTAINABILITY FAIR
Date:               Saturday, May 16
Time:               9:00am – 1:00pm
Location:         Community Recreation Center (CRC) 686 Old Mammoth Road

Meet at the Community Recreation Center (CRC) on Saturday, May 16 at 9:00am to pick up trash bags and head out to clean up our Town. 

Grab a bag…or two and head out to clean up our streets, parks, trails, multi-use paths, neighborhoods, and public spaces! 
Bring your trash and recycling back to the CRC no later than 1:00pm, tally the weight, and enjoy a complimentary lunch on us! 
While you’re there, don’t miss the Sustainability Fair from 11:00am – 1:00pm, featuring local organizations and how they are working to protect our environment.
