- **Event Description**: Mammoth Cave ,More Than A Cave! Rolling hills, deep river valleys, and the worlds longest known cave system. Mammoth Cave National Park is home to thousands of years of human history and a rich diversity of plant and animal life, earning it the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve.

CAMPING:

We will be camping at Double J Stables and Campgrounds! 
542 Lincoln school rd Mammoth Cave, Ky 42259

This will be Primitive camping but we will have access to the pavilion where there is Electric and water available. There are heated Restrooms with flush toilets and Hot showers on site. Ice & firewood 4 sale. WiFi Internet access. Lots of trails. YES we will be doing our Horseback riding right from camp and riding right into the Mammoth Caves National park!

Rocky will be fixing Breakfast Saturday Morning for $8 a plate. 
I was told Biscuits N gravy, eggs, bacon and more! Yummy

 Dave and Rocky have DJ and Karaoke Saturday night 6 to 9.
What happens at Double J Stables stays at the Stables! LOL



Cost of Camping and shuttles $125 Must have your own Kayak and some moving water experience. No Refunds.
If you are in need of a kayak, Please contact me ASAP!

Cost Zip lines $72 ! No refunds!
Weight limit 275lbs! Must be paid 3 weeks before our trip.
If we get enough people they will offer a group discount!

Cost Horseback riding. 2 hr $75 We will be doing the 2 hr ride. no Refunds.  Weight limit 250lbs! Guides work on tips!
Must receive payment to guarantee your spot. Spots are very limited. 

Please let me know If you want to zip line and or horseback riding so I can book to our size and hoping to get a group discount for the ziplines.

Wednesday afternoon is arrival: set up camp, Check out the visitor center to pick up your own maps for caves, hiking, biking!... Dinner at a local eatery. TBA ? Cave City!! The German restaurant if open. 

Thursday - Morning we will Zipline then directly from ziplining we will kayak the Green river. Dennison Ferry to Green River Ferry

( 8 Miles - Approximately 3 to 3.5 hours!)

This short trip is a great way for kayakers to experience the beauty of the Green River and its wildlife.

Friday - Morning we plan to Horseback ride at 10 am!  may do an Afternoon paddle down Nolin river or lake. possibly do a group cave tour? TBD by group.

Saturday - Can book Mammoth cave tour, Paddle Nolin Lake, Hike or explore more in Cave City.

For caving: I was told if you want the history, book a reservation at the Mammoth Caves National park in advance. If you want the Oooos and Ahhhs of beautiful Caves and formations, go to the Diamond Caverns or Crystal caverns, no reservations needed.

***caving, biking, hiking are on your own. I am not planning these. But we can get into small groups to explore.




Sundayday -  Paddle Green River Ferry to Houchins Ferry

(12 Miles - Approximately 5.5 hours)

Beginning at the Green River Ferry, kayak the stream that helped form the great Mammoth Cave. With clear skies, you'll have a sunny trip as you pass some sandy beaches and islands which may be used for picnics or just taking a break. The river flows through deep gorges and wooded hills and has abundant wildlife. Caves to see and go into along our paddle.
