Reflections School of Dance presents our 14th annual Student Showcase.

This is not just a Reflections School of Dance event; we're inviting all other dancers from local dance studios, our Mill Creek Community, Snohomish County, and beyond.
Ages: focused on ages 8-16+; however, open to all earlier & older - as long as they can perform and compete on stage with their piece at this event.
This event is an exciting opportunity for students to dance in a small group or as a soloist and also help raise funds for our May Benefit show "Celebrate Life," Youth Unlimited scholarship fund & outreach projects. This project is to be student-led and choreographed. This opportunity benefits dancers in many ways - it builds confidence, leadership skills, choreography experience, and teamwork.
Students can choose their music, dance style, costume, and small group.
Dances should be no longer than 2-3 minutes (solos recommended max. 1.5-2 min) - (however, you could inquire about being accepted a bit longer the week before the show if we have more time/spots available).
All music, costuming, and choreography should be family-friendly & Reflections appropriate. You may create your own costumes or purchase from our discounted stock available at the studio. $25 each new!
Duos and Trios (a small group of 4 could also be accepted) are recommended because teamwork is valuable for life!
Soloist submissions are also accepted.
Note: Limited amount of dancer time slots - first come, first serve, so get registered early (by March 1), do not wait until the deadline (Mar. 10th).

Soloist - $ ($ Reflections Team member discount)
Small Groups -$ each person ($ Reflections Teams member discount)
Registration Deadline: Notice by March 1 (if you missed the deadline, don't hesitate to contact us to be considered!) & fees paid by March 10th.
Fees are for one dance. So you could register and pay twice if you want to do 2 dances.

3) List names of dancers, choreographer, song, and time & provide music mp3 file.
Though it does not necessarily affect your performance or consideration for being chosen to perform in our Benefit Concert, please let me know if your piece was self-choreographed, choreographed by a teacher/other, or had assistance from a teacher/parent.
Upon registering, you are giving us permission to take photos, video your performance, and post pictures and videos to YouTube or the Reflections Facebook page.
**Registration Fee Includes:
+ Performance time slot in the Student Showcase & entry into the Grand Prize Contest
+ Time of teachers/adjudicators to evaluate your performance and provide you private email feedback
+ Up to one free hour of our studio use - Please use the sign up Sheet at the studio desk - First come first serve.
+ Video of performance uploaded to Reflections YouTube Channel to share with friends (some of our past submissions have up to 56,000+ views now). (digital copy available for $12)

Extra hours of studio use can be booked through the office at a rate of $25 per hour (if used at times listed below).

Thursday, 3/20, we'll email the participants confirming the event show order.
Note: along with high-quality videos - high-quality photos will be taken and available for viewing & purchase. All should be posted by April 4.
+ If you would like a high-quality digital copy of your HD video, you can receive that for an extra $12
+ If you need and would like us to edit your music, we can do basic editing for $5-10 (depending on how much is required).

Reflections Revival Dance Team will be the main ones helping & putting on this show.
