She received early training from her father, tabla  artist Anand Asanare, and Pt. C. T. Mhaiskar of Sangli. Her vocal style is pliant, polished and seasoned, with open Akaar and easy and graceful glides. Manjiri has received many awards and wide acclaim for her performances in multiple venues in India and overseas.

She will be accompanied by Sanjay Deshpande on Tabla and Dnyaneshwar Sonawane on Harmonium.
