Sound Intervention

The Local Service Initiative is an improvising sextet from Potsdam, NY, exploring the intersections of sound, place, and community. Dedicated to bringing inventive and boundary pushing performances to regions often outside the reach of contemporary music, the group blends dual saxophones, piano, guitar, electronics, voice, and unexpected elements into an immersive live experience. Join us for an evening of surprises, improvised music, and visual art featuring guest musicians from the Malone music community and a video installation by Echo. Join Us!
