The grant is a MATCHING FUND!! They even increased the limit beyond what we applied for to ensure we would get the best possible outcome to fulfill our needs. If you are able to donate, every little bit helps! We are striving towards eventually offering a full theater experience , here at Foothills Art Society. Please help if you can. These OPEN MIC NIGHTS are an opportunity to share your music, poetry, short stories, stand-up comedy etc. It's not competitive, so you can feel safe to perform, even if you are just beginning your journey. IMPORTANT NOTE - if you want to perform, but prefer not to be on a live stream, just let me, Jill, know before the show and I can either let you perform before I begin the live stream or after everyone else has performed, I can discontinue the live stream to accommodate you!? If you are running late, don't hesitate to come. There are some people driving quite a distance to attend, I don't want anyone to miss out. If you want to be added to the board to perform, after the suggested time, just get my attention, in between performers and I'll add you to the board if it isn't full. We'd love to have as many perform as we can in the time allotted. * $5 per person suggested donation * Refreshments available - at the bar Thank you for supporting the music and art community. We need these kinds of healthy outlets, especially now. They are healing , therapeutic and important.
