Invitation to Practitioners & Teachers Gathering: Deep Practice Days March 3-7th
As a part of the third addition of a public festival for somatic movement practices, dance, improvisation and artistic research in Malmö Feb 28-March 22nd.
This gathering is for experienced somatic movement and dance practitioners with a pedagogical interest to practice, connect and grow in a peer-to-peer supported community. Please invite other practitioners you think should be a part of this into this FB event.

Dear practitioners,
We truly hope you can join us for these days of practicing and being together in the form of Practitioners & Teachers: Gathering Deep Practice Days (March 3-7th).
Now feels like an important time to be students together, understand how we can support each other's practices and interests collegially, and understand what it is to be in community.
We truly hope that the majority of the group join for all days. However, if that is not possible with your work schedule it is better that you come for just some of the days, than not at all.

In this gathering we will each day meet through moving (Contemplative Dance Practice), eating (we serve lunch and breakfast each day), reflecting and conversing (on topics important to us) and collectively be students together by taking one three hour workshop per day together in different somatic dance forms and methods.
The practitioners invited to facilitate workshop in Deep Practice Days are Eva Karczag, Olive Bieringa (BMC), Sally E Dean (Skinner Releasing), Lisa Nelson and Otto Ramstad (Material for the Spine).

Preliminary schedule:
March 3rd (pre-workshop day):
On-boarding workshop (2 hours) in the afternoon with Phil Sanger
Material for the Spine with Otto Ramstad
& Performing Underscore #3 at Dansstationen at 19.30
March 4-7th:
8.30-9.30: breakfast and open studio space
9.30-12.30: workshop
12.30-14.00 lunch
14.00-14.30: collective nap/rest
14.30-16.30: space for collective reflection/thinking/talking/moving on different topics important to us
16.30-17.30: processing the day and being in collective non-led practice through Contemplative Dance Practice
17.30-19.00: Free time
19-21.00: Public event such as a performance lecture, panel talk or performance with soup served

Cost of Deep Practice Days are 850 SEK (mainly to cover food costs).
