Five years. Five festivals. Celebrating the richness of presence, connection, and expanding community.
This summer we're celebrating our 5th anniversary by bringing together everything that made our Nära Festivals special. We've cherry-picked the best from previous years: quality workshops led by experienced facilitators, co-created celebration that emerges from what we all bring, and more space for landing in connection together. Plus a heartful integration space on the final day.
This year we're expanding beyond our Nordic roots. Facilitators and participants from across Europe are joining our community — not to become something else, but to deepen into who we are by welcoming new voices into the field.
Five days to arrive, explore, connect, celebrate, and integrate. Five days to be more you, in connection.
THE PRACTICES
This festival stems from a longing to provide more opportunities for people to connect around Authentic Relating practices, Relational Presencing and embodiment.
Authentic Relating is an umbrella term covering both a movement and set of practices that facilitate an honest and heartful way of exploring communication and connection beyond social masks and norms.
Relational Presencing is an organic authentic relating practice based on a few principles that support you in being more in touch with your own truth while staying in connection to others.
Embodiment reminds us that our bodily existence is at the core of who we are. Through our body, we are in direct relationship with all other bodies and the world. The festival will offer various forms of bodily based activities, such as various kinds of dance, morning workout, playfights and sauna sessions.
THE FIVE-DAY JOURNEY
The festival starts with The Workshop Days, Wednesday to Friday, aimed to support you to connect deeper with yourself and others from a wide selection of workshops. The Workshop Days then vibrantly launch us into a co-created celebration day on Saturday (a full day and evening!) — be it festive, cosy, unpretentious, or full of different flavours brought by all of you. On Sunday, we're exiting through a facilitated space for landing, grounding and integration.
A SPACE OF POSSIBILITIES
A fantastic team of facilitators offer 20+ workshops in relational presence, embodiment, sound journeys and deep dance.
In breaks and evenings there is space to just hang out, dance, sing and make music. Or why not a playfight on the lawn followed by a sauna?
🌿 3 vegetarian/vegan meals per day + snacks
🌿 Accommodation: twin room, dormitory, or bring your tent/camper
🌿 Sauna and morning practices
🌿 Alcohol and drug free
We begin with check-in from noon and opening ceremony at 4 PM on 5 Aug and end at 4 PM on 9 Aug.
...and last but not least, an atmosphere that invites us to stretch and expand into our full selves — feeling free and connected, playful and sincere.
