Headliner bio - Sat, Dec 13
Mike Sheer (Canada) - Mike's comedy jumps from light to dark, smart to stupid, low-brow to high. Audiences are on their toes while laughing off their butts. With an engaging and affable stage presence, his focus can give in to sudden crowd-sparked inspiration amongst crisp and gag-heavy routines. Truly an international act, he’s performed in over 18 countries, including headlining at theatres, clubs and solo hours at festivals like Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festivals. Screen appearances include MuchMusic, Video On Trial and BBC One's Are You Having a Laugh?

Our history and motto:
Established all the way back in 2009 when we started doing shows at Fagans and then Casino Cosmopol, Malmö English Comedy Nights now calls the lovely Scandic Triangeln its home. The shows are all about enjoying great stand-up comedy in English in a lovely setting great for meeting expats and internationally-minded social Swedish natives! Who knows what'll happen! Each show has a fun mix of at least one pro headline comedian flown in with support acts made up of stars of tomorrow, semi-pros, rookies & stars of yesterday :) + an MC host guiding you through the evening from Canada, the USA, Ireland or the UK!
