And this is why we present Cinema Resistenza 2026: three evenings of film in three different venues to refuse to look away. 🎥

The second film is If Only I Were That Warrior (2015) by Valerio Ciriaci.

In 2012, a small Italian town inaugurated a publicly funded monument to Rodolfo Graziani, a Fascist general responsible for massacres and the use of chemical weapons in Ethiopia.

This documentary follows the struggle over that monument across three continents, exposing the myth of "italiani brava gente" and the political battle over who gets to control historical memory.
