CureSearch Ultimate Hikes are life-changing, lifesaving events that combine the joy of hiking with the mission of raising funds for pediatric cancer research. You'll conquer rugged terrain and take in breathtaking views as you hike up to or over 20 miles in one day, all in support of funding cures for our littlest cancer warriors.

Train with a team right here in Southern California for challenging hikes on 6 beautiful and  storied trails throughout the U.S.

Come join us to learn more about these incredible --and incredibly rewarding --events, especially the California Coastal Redwoods hike that will take place next year on trails in and around the Mount Tamalpais/Muir Woods parks in the Bay Area.

8:00 AM sharp! ⏰
Try to arrive by 7:45 AM so you have time to get ready. We’ll wrap up around noon (give or take).

? Carpooling encouraged!
Parking is free at the trailhead lot, but it can fill up fast. If the lot’s full, you’ll need to park along the highway — please be cautious of traffic.

? Heads up: Cell service is spotty out there — double check your directions before you go!

? About the Hike:
We’ll explore a scenic section of the 67+ mile Backbone Trail through the Santa Monica Mountains. Expect stunning canyon views, maybe a few small stream crossings, and—if we’re lucky—a flowing waterfall! ?

? What to Bring:

Hiking boots or sturdy shoes

1–2 liters of water

Snacks (energy bars, fruit, trail mix, etc.)

Sweater or extra layer

Sunscreen, lip balm, hat, sunglasses

Optional: fresh shirt, comfy shoes/socks, or a towel for after
