Upload photos or sound recordings in the iNaturalist app. These observations become data that helps scientists better understand and protect nature for all of us!Participation is free; just grab your phone and start taking pictures!Join us on a guided hike at Rocky Oaks on Friday, April 24 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM as we make observations and contribute to the 2026 City Nature Challenge. Expect an easy hike on uneven terrain and light elevation gain as we stop frequently to identify wildlife and take photos of organisms to upload on iNaturalist.Plan ahead! Make sure you create an account with iNaturalist and have iNaturalist/Seek downloaded on your smart device prior to the event: A Community for Naturalists · iNaturalistThis is a free event with complimentary parking, no experience or expertise is required. Meet at the dirt parking lot of Rocky Oaks Park. South on Kanan Road to Mulholland Highway. Turn west (right) on Mulholland Highway and right again into parking lot.
